On Sat, May 30, 10am-3pm participants can learn about fish identification, equipment and techniques, management, ethics, aquatic ecology, and more! All equipment provided for free. No experience or license needed! Location: Six Mile Waterworks, Fuller Rd, Albany

Come see wild birds up close as scientists carefully fit them with uniquely coded leg-bands, before releasing them back to the wild. Snacks and drinks from the Mighty Sweet Baking Company will be available for purchase. On the green trail behind the Discovery Center.

Learn how to help us monitor a bird that moved back into the Pine Bush after decades of absence and whose incessant song used to keep people awake at night. Reservation required.

Science Symposium

7pm, at the DC

Local and regional scientists studying everything from birds to archeology will share their discoveries. Meet the scientists while enjoying light appetizers and drinks from Date and Olive.
