The Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center, sponsored by Trustco, is the gateway to the Albany Pine Bush Preserve, providing visitors with interactive exhibits and activities. You are invited to explore the preserve's geologic and cultural significance, examine the plants and animals that live in this landscape, study preserve management principles, and consider human impacts on this sensitive landscape.
We will be conducting a prescribed fire on Monday April 21, 2025. We will start at 9AM and will be finished by dark. We will be located near the intersection of New Karner Road and Washington Ave Ext. Trailheads #6 & #7 will be closed until 4/22/2025.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Fire Manager, Tyler Briggs at tbriggs@albanypinebush.org.
