Did you know that January 21st is National Squirrel Appreciation Day? Did you know there are almost 300 species of squirrels on Earth that can glide through the air, outwit rattlesnakes, and survive the coldest temperatures of any mammal? Three of these squirrel species live in the Pine Bush. Come join us to view A Squirrel’s Guide to Success, a 53-minute film about the squirrel family and discover the secrets to their success. After the film we’ll go on a short hike to explore squirrel habitat and investigate the signs they leave behind. This program meets inside the Discovery Center.
