It’s Turtle Time! Join us for a brief introduction to one of our Discovery Center turtle ambassadors on select Wednesdays and Fridays this summer from 2:00-2:15. Don’t miss this chance to observe a live turtle and discover something new about these ancient reptiles! Bring your questions and curiosity. Due to health and safety concerns, visitors will not be permitted to touch the turtles.
A maximum of 30 individuals will be allowed in the classroom for each program. Please check-in at our front desk upon arrival.
Participants will be allowed in on a first come, first served basis.
All guests are welcome and encouraged to actively participate in our in-person and virtual programs through interactive questions and conversation. The Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission (APBPC) requests that guests respect that such interactions will be respectful and that the content of such interactions will be pertinent to our in-person and virtual programs.

From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
