Visit the Albany Pine Bush Preserve

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is open 24/7 for you to explore! With 12 different trailheads and over 20 miles of trail there is much to discover here. Open pine barrens, rolling grasslands, ephemeral ponds, cool steep-sided ravines and forests are all part of the Pine Bush Preserve’s tapestry of habitats. Visit for a quiet nature walk or bring a bike and pedal the sandy trails. Trail maps are available at all 12 trailheads as well as on line at www.AlbanyPineBush.org and at the Discovery Center during our business hours.

Spring wildflowers abound along the trails of the Pine Bush Preserve

Take time along the trail to stop and see the wildflowers! Wild blue lupine, pink lady slipper and wild columbine are just a few of the fantastic blooms you may encounter on a visit to the preserve this spring.
