Join the Friends of the Pine Bush Community for an afternoon hike in the preserve!
This is a great opportunity for people who are working toward completing the 20 Mile Challenge to cross off those trails.

This program is part of our 2026 Lupine Fest passport program. Use your passport to explore Lupine Fest all month long! Attend hikes, programs, exhibits, and special events, and collect a stamp for each activity you complete.

Trailhead #6 Kaikout Kill Barrens
Directions from Discovery Center to Kaikout Kill Barrens (Trailhead 6). At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, turn left onto Route 155.
Proceed 0.5 miles to next traffic light. Turn left onto Washington Ave. Ext then take your first immediate right. Turn right onto Frontage Road (not labeled but runs parallel with Washington Ave. Ext.). Continue 0.3 miles to trailhead.
