Suitable for tweens, teens and adults

Celebrate the day of the year with the longest number of daylight hours by taking a stroll among the pitch pine-scrub oak barrens of the Pine Bush. It will be a wonderful time to enjoy the mid-day sun, observe how the shadows move, and listen for the sounds of summer. We plan to walk approximately two and one-half miles in the Karner Barrens region of the preserve. Please meet at the wooden and metal kiosk (trailhead #1).
